Sea Posie Collection

POSIE – conveying a not-so-secret message, used to convey a hidden message, a dome shape with flowers placed in a circular pattern representing never-ending love,

The Sea Posie Collection is artworks inspired by the dome-shaped rocks found on the reef, which are covered in corals in a range of textures, colours, shapes and textures. I explore the use of different mediums and materials to create these colourful and joyful posies which represent my never-ending love for the reef and all it holds. Each Posie is also a symbol of the reefs’ gift to us, reminding us of its beauty and our responsibility to look after it. They also represent a not-so-secret-message from the reef to you, the viewer, which is a plea for protection and conservation. These relief artworks are created of recycled and repurposed materials, as well as mixed media and reinforce the need to stop discarded materials and plastic from ending up in our oceans.

Each posie is framed in a white box frame and can stand or be hung on a wall as seen below.
