This unique Sea Posie is inspired by the dome-shaped rocks found on the reef which are covered in corals in a range of shapes, colours, textures and patterns. Using childhood memories and lifelong observations, I explored the use of different mediums and materials to create this colourful and joyful Posie. This artwork is created from recycled and repurposed materials, as well as mixed media, and underlines the need to stop discarded materials and plastic ending up in our oceans. It represents my never-ending love for the reef and symbolises the reefs' gift to us, reminding us of its beauty and our responsibility to look after it. It is a not-so-secret-message from the reef to you, the viewer, which is a plea for protection and conservation. Size: 27 x 27 x 6cm (framed) Substrate: Board
